Our vision is to bring the joy of summer camp to every kid in the world
The Happy Camper Project is the philanthropic arm of Happy Camper Live which brings the joy of summer camp to every kid in the world. Our mission is to inspire giving and sustain youth center programs by funding informal learning experiences.
The Happy Camper Project raises funds and provides programming support to help summer camp and youth programs meet their financial and operational needs and attain their goals to continue to offer their activities to their students, campers, families, and community.
Who We Help
The Happy Camper Project reaches a global audience. We harness our passion for helping young people by offering financial assistance to diverse, mindful, positive youth organizations to meet their needs thereby allowing their campers and students access to their programs and the ability to continue to flourish and thrive. The Happy Camper Project celebrates diversity. We welcome all youth and youth-based programs that empower staff, students, campers, and all young people to foster community and share their powerful, authentic stories.

Our Impact
The changes we make
Our fundraising and distribution efforts will directly impact the lives of programs, staff, children, and communities at large. The Happy Camper Project aims to affect change through a continued ripple effect. With our ability to assist in implementing change to positive, mindful institutions, the positive effects of that change will flow to all involved. We seek to help programs continue their good works and expand the accessibility of the joys and strengths of youth programs to a wider world.
Happy Camper Hangouts
A Virtual Year Round Camp Experience for Children in the Foster Care System
We provide accessible and safe extracurricular activities to youth in the foster care system by:
Camping: Virtual camp activities including specialty classes such as dance, yoga, martial arts, arts and crafts and more
Connections: Campers spend valuable time with their peers and counselors, many of whom have lived experience in foster care during "cabin time" (small break out sessions).
Confidence: Campers have opportunities to build confidence by doing team activities, learning new skills, and participating in group events.

Allison Miller
Allison Corey Miller is President of The Happy Camper Project, Inc. and Founder and CEO of Happy Camper Live. Her vision is to bring the magic of summer camp to every kid in the world 365 days of the year. She brings her 24 years of residential summer camp experience as well as her legal and human resources background to the lead the team.
