​Summer Camp

Care Package Ideas!

You can support camps by coming up with your own Happy Camp Care Package.  Here are some ideas below. Items can be new or gently used depending on the item. 

Camper Needs:​

  • Linens- Pillows, blankets sheets, towels

  • Hats, socks, backpacks, sleeping bags, headlamps or flashlights

  • Fun props (hats, boas, glow sticks)

  • Bunk games (playing cards, embroidery floss, mad libs)

  • Books, stationary, stickers, and stamps

  • Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, shampoo, soap, first aid kits, sunscreen

Program Area Needs:​

  • Camping Kit- Tents, sleeping bags, canteens, compasses, tarps, folding chairs, pots, 

  • Arts and Craft Kit- Paint, brushes, paper, clay, scissors, other craft items.

  • Science Kit- Beakers, glue, slime activator, plastic bowls, safety glasses, balloons, bubble solution, microscope, 

  • Sports Kit- Sports balls (basketball, baseball, softball, tennis, lacrosse, playground), baseball gloves, tennis rackets, hockey sticks, lacrosse sticks.

  • Fun Games Kit- Tug of war rope, nine square, spike ball, ping pong

  • Water Fun Kit- Goggles, kick boards, bathing caps, life jackets, water toys
